The creative direction centered around fluidity and restraint — capturing the essence of water without cliché. The design draws inspiration from tides, reflections, and maritime textures. Each page flows seamlessly into the next, with smooth scroll behavior and subtle hover effects that mirror the rhythm of the sea. The color palette leans into deep blues, off-whites, and shimmering silvers, reflecting both depth and clarity. Imagery is given space to breathe, with careful art direction that highlights the elegance of each dish and the ambiance of the restaurant itself.
To support Elesiane’s positioning as a destination restaurant, the website integrates storytelling with functionality. Visitors are introduced to the philosophy behind the menu, the seasonal sourcing of ingredients, and the chefs’ vision — all through an editorial lens. The typography combines classic serif fonts with refined sans-serifs, suggesting both heritage and modernity.
