All Work

March 2024

Noémie Leduc

The visual approach to this project was guided entirely by Noémies artistic identity. Her work is deeply emotional, often intimate, with a quiet strength that needed room to exist without interruption. The layout was kept spacious and fluid, letting images breathe without crowding the viewer. We built a structure that feels like a visual conversationinviting, elegant, and warm. Color choices were muted, with soft neutrals acting as a canvas for her rich tones and nuanced light. Typography played a supporting role: refined, minimal, and deliberately quiet. Everything was built to elevate the work, not compete with it. From homepage to gallery views, every interaction was designed to feel thoughtful, seamless, and slow-paced, mirroring the introspective nature of her photography.

Beyond aesthetics, the challenge was to provide Noémie with a tool that could grow alongside her practice. We integrated a CMS tailored for photographers, allowing her to easily manage and update projects, testimonials, and exhibitions without touching the design integrity. Special attention was given to mobile layoutsensuring that her photographs retain their emotional charge and composition on all screen sizes. Animations were subtle and used only when necessary: gentle fades, soft scrolls, minimal transitions. The site becomes more than just a portfolio; its a sensory experience and a personal archive. This collaboration was about building something enduring, functional, and alivejust like her work.
